Recently we completed two Z32 300ZX Twin Turbo dyno tunes. Both were updated from reflashed stock computers to the much superior Haltech Platinum Pro Plug-In standalone engine managements. The Haltech EMS is a complete replacement for the stock computer and plugs directly into the stock harness. The standalone also enables live speed density tuning, so there is no need for maf splitters or waiting to mail tunes in and out. The end result of both was better performance and improved drivability.
Z32 Haltech Pro Plug-In Installed in place of stock computer:
The first Z32 300ZX was on stock turbos with upgraded Nismo injectors. The results was an impressive 337whp and almost matching torque.
The next Z32 300ZX came in with upgraded GT28RS twin turbos and yielded 429 horsepower at the wheels!

Our first turbo Scion FR-S is complete and a low boost dyno tune yielded 230 WHP on 0.3bar (4psi), a gain of 77 horsepower at the wheels on our Dyno Dynamics dynamometer (stock baseline dyno of 153 WHP). This was performed on the stock FA20 engine.
This turbocharged FR-S build consists of:
· Dynosty Scion FR-S Subaru BRZ Single Turbo Kit with Tial GT2871R Turbocharger
· Tial MVR 44mm Wastegate and Tial Blow Off Valve
· Injector Dynamics 850cc Fuel Injectors running E85
· Haltech Platinum Sport standalone engine management
· Haltech Wideband and Haltech Advanced Boost Control System
· Dyno Tune by Hal at Dynosty
Stay tuned for more turbo Scion FR-S and Subaru BRZ videos and dynos as we chart new territory with increased boost levels.

This white 2012 Hyundai Genesis coupe r-spec 2.0T came in for some mods to boost the power output of the 2.0L turbocharged Theta engine. Baseline dyno showed 178whp on our Dyno Dynamics, at which time we planned the following:
Haltech Hyundai Genesis Platinum Pro Plug-In standalone ems (PN HT055045)
Injector Dynamics ID 1000cc fuel injectors
MXP O2 Housing
Tune by Hal at Dynosty

Next, the stock ECU was removed and a Haltech Pro Plug-In ecu was fitted in it’s place. Fuel, ignition, cam timing and boost were dialed in on the Haltech standalone, yielding 232whp on 93octane pump gas – a 54whp or 30% increase in power!
The customer runs the car at SCCA autocross events, and recently took it to Putnam Park road course for a Porsche track day event. He sent a link to the footage along with these kind words, “Here’s a video from the last session on Sunday. I was the only car out there on street tires in that session. The second car I passed is a 2011 GT3 on Hoosier R6’s. Thanks for the help and for the perfect tune.”
