Late nights paid off for Stephen when we got his supercharged 2011 CTS-V on the dyno rollers to dial in the nitrous and tune. Using a combination of SCT, HP Tuners for logging, and NX Maximizer we were able to achieve 665HP at wheels and 665TQ through the automatic transmission. The setup consists of a pullied CTS-V, cat-delete on the exhaust, and progressive nitrous plate system with standalone fuel system.
It was great having another classic in the shop with a modern engine. This 56 Chevy had a Chevy LS1 V8 transplanted into it along with the drive-by-wire system, and was brought to us for a dyno tune. We strapped it on our Dyno Dynamics and proceeded to dyno tune it with HP Tuners.
This week we were able to upgrade two Chevrolet Cobalt SS’s, one silver and one red. Both received similar modifications, though the Dyno Dynamics results varied based on supporting modifications on the LSJ engines.
Silver Cobalt SS: Full exhaust, 2.85 pulley, 60# injectors, tuned on HP Tuners by Hal at Dynosty
Red Cobalt SS: Stock with GM Stage 2 pulley upgrade and injectors and HP Tuners dyno tune. 211whp
